How we secured corporate data for a financial firm – even on lost devices

Problem

Access to Office 365 and SharePoint was allowed from unsecured devise, creating security risks risks and potential data breaches

Solution

• Technopeak deployed Microsoft Entra ID and lntune, with Autopilot streamlining device setup
• We set conditional access to allow only trusted devices from approved locations
• Local data encryption was also applied for additional security

Result

• Unauthorized devices are blocked from accessing sensitive systems, ever if passwords and 2FA are compromised
• All devices can be remotely wiped through lntune, ensuring data protection if devices are lost or stolen
